The cheapest and easiest way to travel is to take a bus from KL to Genting Highlands. The time taken to travel is approximately one hour. Buses are run by three bus operators: Aerobus, BK Travel and Five Stars Travel. Aerobus has 44 seater buses which pick up passengers from Jalan Pekeliling terminal in Kuala Lumpur and drop off in Awana Bus Terminal in Genting Highlands. A one way ticket costs SGD3.59.

BK Travels trips leave throughout a day and their pick up point is the KL Central while drop off points are Lower Genting Skyway Station. They also offer you to bundle your tickets with a cable car ticket making the cost of the ticket rise from SDG1.54 to SDG4.41. Five Star Travel makes three trips a day with Selengor’s 1 Utama Shopping Center Bus terminal as pick up point and Lower Genting Skyway Station as drop off location.
